Course Overview
This one-day, case observation course is suited to interventional endoscopists and hepatologists who wish to learn to measure portal pressure gradient using the EchoTip Insight®. Attendees will join a highly experienced endoscopist in the procedure room, where they will observe and engage in clinical discussions about this procedure.
Course Objectives
• Learn how to use the EchoTip Insight
• Understand how to take portal pressure measurements and what they mean
• Understand the procedure, when to refer appropriate patients to the endoscopy department, and how to identify the most common indications
• Explore how endoscopic ultrasound portal pressure gradient (EUS PPG) helps patient management
• Observe liver biopsy
Recommended Attendees
This course is recommended for skilled endoscopic ultrasound (EUS) physicians and hepatologists. There is a maximum of 4 attendees per course.
