Course Overview
A multidisciplinary discussion between interventional Endoscopy physician Dr. Harshit Khara experienced in endo-hepatology, who will describe the role of endoscopic ultrasound (EUS) and EUS-guided portal pressure gradient (EUS-PPG) in the assessment of parenchymal liver disease, with clinical hepatology physician Dr. Sandeep Khurana, who will highlight the value it brings to the management of patients with chronic liver disease. Actual procedure highlights compared to historical standard of care will be shared. Ample time for Q&A will be included. This course is intended to introduce and discuss the value of EUS-PPG and is not intended to train the healthcare professional on the device, nor how to perform the procedure.
