Advanced Embolic Therapies

Course level: Advanced

  • Physicians should have an excellent understanding of indications and uses of embolic devices, should have a minimum of three years of experience in practicing interventions, and should perform more than 100 embolization cases per year.
  • These courses will provide an overview of the intermediate material and will also take an in-depth look at treating arteriovenous malformations (AVMs), pulmonary arteriovenous malformation (PAVMs), and tumor embolization using Cook devices. The courses will also address how to treat difficult venous embolization cases, visceral aneurysms, and endoleaks. The courses are designed to help physicians understand or improve their product selection and application for complex interventions.
