This course offers a comprehensive look at the Cook Medical and other devices used in complex access and crossing techniques in challenging PAD, CLI, and amputation-prevention cases.

Course objectives:
At the end of this course, attendees will understand:

  • Endovascular techniques and Cook Medical technologies that include balloons, stents, and drug-eluting stents. Atherectomy devices (cutting, directional, and orbital), and laser catheters will also be demonstrated.
  • The importance of imaging guidance for complex access approaches, including antegrade, popliteal, tibiopedal, SFA, and brachial access
  • Targeting and crossing techniques of CTOs above and below the knee, and transcollateral access
